Yes.
The system itself is robust enough to create a Bolo universe on the fly without breaking down on a mechancial level. The campaign was a one night run with one Bolo tank, one pilot, and an aerial AI satelite. The game went smoothly.
Overall, the high points were...
- The Bolo was powerful without being gamebreaking. Anytime you can fit a Hellbore weapon into a game alongside the human pilot without breaking the campaign, you are playing with a stable system.
- Speed was not an issue. The game moved fast. I was happy as a GM. The leg work to maintain a moving campaign was easy to maintain.
- Character development! Woot... The process and gameplay supported evolved character concepts at the end of the day for high RP games. Happy thoughts all around as a GM...
