What rule? The sell for 20% rule? That's core per the PHB, no reason to stipulate it anywhere else.

Well, except when rarity was introduced, the rule was changed so that uncommons sell for 50% and rares for 100%, plus Enchant Item was changed to only allow common items to be created. So all of that has to be rolled back out of the rules in L4W.

However, there's this in the charter, last point under the list of exceptions and houserules:
Charter said:
Item rarity rules will not be used. In modern 4e terms, all magic items are Common, functioning as magic items have for the rest of the game's history. Item daily power limits are removed, as they are in the most current 4e RAW rules. A specific item power can only be used once per day (for daily powers) or once per encounter (for encounter powers) no matter how many copies of that item you have. Characters who use a weapon or implement in each hand with the same enchantment may instead use that enchantment's power twice per encounter/day as appropriate. (Discussion here).
That's where all of the other houserules and exceptions are ... do we need to have it more places than that? (Honest question.)

Since the default is to automatically incorporate any new rules 2 months after the source is released, any exceptions need to have a proposal and an update to the charter to reflect it, which is what happened here too. :)

No, I mean the fact that you can just buy any objects you want. It's certainly not something I assume as a player. So to avoid having people like me who arrive at levels of wealth for the first time where they can actually buy something, it might be worth making a note of that in the guide.

What would be the normal process that a DM goes through to find someone to judge their game?

Is this the place to enquire?

Or is it just sound out the word and wait til one of the judges has time and can commit to judging the game?

Cheers
J

It wasn't sarcasm

and yes, via PMs and/or posts in threads through mentioning them/us. worst you can get is a no and they/we can also help you find another judge that can judge your adventure
