Ok, I'm an idiot: everything I just said is spelled out here except more clearly:

I'm still guessing mods give something on the order of 10 points per XP, or else the math still wouldn't work for Cleverusername.

Edit: Actually, Piratecat is an admin, and those may be 10-20 XP each or something similar.

Other random information:

a guy with over 43,000 posts is XP level 3

a guy with the far-and-away highest XP (700+, level 16) has only ~1400 posts

Mods & Admin I believe are 20 points IIRC. CS's are 3 and non-CS's are 1 I believe.

I know P-cat is a mod and I believe darjr is a mod also.

The first PC to die in a 4e game I ran was "accidentally" killed by another player. And then his body was not so accidentally thrown off a cliff. Fun times were had by all. Seriously.
