Converting the orginal Ravenloft module

I am going to be converting the orginal Ravenloft module to 3E. Has anyone done this already and if anyone can offer me any advise please do. This is the first time I will be converting a module to 3E.

I would reccomend doing a very straight-up conversion first ... then go back and check the CR's and EL's and all that stuff.
