    HM's Great (and only) 4e Campaign - RG

    Recycling an old thread that never got used.

    Would a mod be kind enough to move this to the Rogue Gallery forum I would appreciate it greatly.

    This will be the Rogue Gallery for the upcoming 4e campaign. Please do me a favor and post twice.

    The first post is your character sheet with your character outlined as normal.

    The second can be used for listing power ups, build ideas, adventure notes, powers and feats you are looking at obtaining and thus will give me time to look into them and so on.

    Thanks and I hope to get this game running soon.

    Background

    Doral grew up the third son of a farmer. Farm life made him strong and tough. When he was of age though, he decided to leave the farm, leaving two brothers to run the farm. He left and joined the local lord's force. While an adequate farmer, Doral became a very good soldier. He served in a few battles, as a stout footman. Unfortunately, his lord was slain and the castle overrun. Doral's unit, far afield engaging other forces, was decimated. He and the few other survivors drifted away with no lord to serve. Since then Doral has wandered around picking up work here and there as a caravan guard, or other temporary work. Recently Doral has fallen in with a dwarf, Galim, and a halfling, Jotrek. Three of them have traveled for a while together and are newly arrived in Winterhaven looking for Douven Staul.

    Description
    Marius is young elven male, slight of build, with sharp, angular features. His bright green eyes are not as sharply focused as perhaps some of his people, trying to take in everything at once rather than being alert for specific things. His auburn hair is windswept and shaggy from his wanderings.

    Background
    As a youth, I appreciated all the elven arts. I watched as my contemporaries practiced their swordplay, their archery, their arcane arts, but it was not for me to excel at any of them. Perhaps it was just as well, for I do not think I could have chosen just one to pursue. Instead, from the outside, I could observe all the arts, watching how they mingled together into a single current running through elven culture and the world.

    Later in my life I took to wandering out into the forests of my homeland, exploring their beauty and splendor. Without blade, bow or spell to protect myself, their was always a limit to how far from home I could travel, a limit to how much I could experience for myself. But I was able to get far enough. Out there among the trees, watching the sunlight filter through the canopy on the first day of spring, that is where I found my god. Corellon who shared all his gifts with my people and the world. With his blessings to protect me I could wander as I pleased, seeking out his gifts and influence in the glory of the world, and sharing his gifts with those in need.

    For years I have wandered in an increasing circle outwards from my homeland, experiencing the world for myself and reveling in its splendor. Despite the inherent dangers, my life had been mostly peaceful until the day my path took me on the road to Winterhaven. There I came across a woman, another who has found the blessing of a god like myself. But she was severely injured, and beyond my meager abilities to save. I stayed their with her in her final moments, to provide what succor I could. She spoke to me of a kobold attack, a dangerous cult and a name . . . Kalarel.

    I laid her to lest there amid the beauty of nature, contemplating the events of the day. Did Corellon send her across my path, or me across hers, for a reason? I could not save her, but I could ensure the delivery of her final message to those who would listen. I set my sights on Winterhaven. A destination? A goal? Or just the first step towards something more?
