Morvannon checks himself over as the sorceror's spell washes over him, but can feel no ill effects beyond a slight itching. He grins as he takes a step back from the doorway, sweeping his hand up in a violent gesture that sets white fire flashing through the nearest dwarf, who howls in agony.

The sound of metal and fire fill the odd battlefield in the sewers.

After the furious assault by the heroes, several foes lie wounded or dead. However, with otherworldly perseverance, they press on, as if the casualties and wounds would matter little. For those who have fought undead, these mercenaries are acting much like that.

The mercenaries around Jarel Karn focus on him, as puppets who's strings are pulled beyond the boundaries of their physical capabilities. Only two land hits, but it's enough to draw blood from the genasi.

The dwarves move deftly on the battlefield, seeking to bring Mikara down. One of them bash her with his shield, but the dodgy Mikara moves out of harm's way. However, the other dwarf sees the chance and smashes her down with his shield.

Behind the line, the Sorcerer chants in deep speech... Jarel and Morvannon feel how their bodies are being pulled appart, one extremity in each direction! Jarel is able to fight back, but the half elf tumbles forward by the power of the spell, leaving himself open for the vicious weapons of the mercenaries, which strike him true.

Finally, the Sorceror hexes Bell and Soldier as well.

The Leader barks another order from behind the crates, and the dwarf next to Mikara tries to burst her head with his hammer, but he's unable to connect.

Bell's recantations stop as more blood is spilled. "No!" She called out, but it seemed hopeless. Her eyes scanned the battlefield desperately, but it seemed like everything was violence. Mikara's dodge drew her attention and Elven quickly spilled from her lips, "Byr or!", the magic in the words compelling her ally back.

"Not these one's they're not to blame!" But where who is to blame. Bell's eyes fell to the raised platform instinctively. I want to go there, no, I need to go there! But my defensive magic won't stretch that far and my allies and being hurt now. She bit her bottom lip, trying to think of a solution. "This is hard!"

One of the fighter seemed more lively than the others she focussed on him for a moment and began muttering word of life under her breathe. The barrier under his essence break down for a moment causing him pain, but Bell new his real weakness. She pointed to him with her sword. "His life is a font of our own. When you strike him you shall heal. . . but don't kill him!"

She quickly slides up next to Soldier, holder her shield firmly toward the now adjacent enemy. Her eyes fell on the sorceress. "I want to go up there."

For a moment she forget her defenses, but being next to Soldier she noticed them fading a quickly struck her sword, at a precise angle, against the ground. A ringing tone echoed through the chamber. "Please."
