Eternal Seeker/Action point question

Okay, I'm just trying to figure something out - it sounds too good to be true, so that usually means it is. :)

With Eternal Seeker, when you use an AP, you get another additional action on your next turn. Now, lets say you've got the feat, Action Surge:

"You gain a +3 bonus to attack rolls you make during any action you gain by spending an action point."

So obviously, if you pop your AP, then hit with a power, you get the +3. But now consider, you get an extra action on the following turn, that is the direct result of using an AP. You wouldn't have it if you hadn't popped the AP.

So does Action Surge apply here as well? You wouldn't have gotten this action if you didn't use an AP, and it does say "any action", so.... whats everyone think? :)

Thanks everyone.
