"Alright, let's get this game going " Morgrym says as he grabs the dices and the blind. He he adds a silver to the pot and throws his dices .
" Full house gents. I dare you to do better " and the alchemist throws a big grin at Heinrich and Robert.
[ ooc ]http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3953439/ - keeps 3 ones and the 2 sixes[/occ]
[Sblock=Poker rules rephrased]
First roll
At the start of first round the player with the blind must pay one silver and roll his dices. All other players can wait to pay one silver after their roll is made, depending if they want to participate or not. When players have rolled their dice they must decide if they want to withdraw, call or raise. You can only raise once per turn and maximum 3 silvers. The round continues until the last player, usually the player with the blind, checks or calls the raise.
Second roll
all remaining players make hidden roll, which they show in the end of the round. The player with the blind starts the round by declaring check or raise. If he checks, he simply let's the round continue without adding more coin to the pot. The next players can decide to do the same or raise the pot by 1-3 silver. All player's that want to continue to be in the game must call the raise or raise the raise. Calling the raise means you add equal amount of silver as the raise amount. Raising a raise means you add 1-3 silver more than the raise, so if the raise was 2 silver and you decide to raise it by 2 more, the total raise is 4 silver and all players who wish to participate must pay 4 silver. This is when some players decide to withdraw, to cut their losses. When this is all over, all remaining players show their last roll and the player with the highest roll wins.
Actions:
Withdraw - you drop out of the game until the next
Check - the pot remains unchanged and the round continues to the next player. only possible in second roll or by the player with the blind in first round.
Raise - raise the initial round's pot by 1-3 silver. Can only be done once per round by each player.
Call - you accept the raise and add silver equal to it to the pot.

" well then, it's just me and you Heinrich " and he takes a couple of silver from his pouch " what do you say to a raise?! "
OOC: Morgrym raises the pot by 2 silver. Heinrich can call his 2 silver and end this round or raise the pot further and see if Morgrym wants to call his raise or he can withdraw.

"Robert, Eine mögliche Meerenge? *shrug* Morgrym, Forderung. " He throws in two silver.

OOC: now how do we do this with only one set of dice? is ther 3 setg of dice on the table? shall we retro to say that, so your 1 die (Würfel), and my 2 dice are hidden?

OOC: yes, each player has a set of six dices. Hmm, we can say the hidden dice or dices are under some sort of mug, cup or something else when we have made the final roll. Remember the hidden dice is only hidden from the other players

[sblock=google translator] Meerenge? omg, google translator what are you doing? just to clarify Meerenge = strait, right? but Meerenge means sea gate.[/sblock]

"sometimes you have to know when it's best to back off" Robert smiles, and nods in the direction of Morgryms dice.

" touché Heinrich " he says and makes the final roll by using his just finished beer mug as a beaker.
" you are quite right Robert. May I call you Bob or Bobby? " and he sends Heinrich a huge grin after he has looked at his roll.
