Larissa looks at the strange man. "And this is part of that?" she asks quietly, gesturing to the inn around the man. She is aware that others in the bar may find her speech to empty air strange, but follows her curiosity and concern rather than clinging to decorum.

The front door to the Dunn Wright Inn flies open and a man steps into the doorway. Almost immediately, he turns back to the outside world and pauses.

It's not that rapidly opening doors is, by any standard, unusual to the place. On a given night, it might happen several times. Most often, it is purposeful attention-mongering by more flamboyant patrons, hoping to draw attention to themselves through overt action. Less commonly, it is accidental, induced by stress and expressed in many forms, from anger to desperation. It is the latter that perks the attention of the seasoned adventurer.

"Fine, fine!" the man's exclamation carries a definitive tone of irritation as he stands in the doorway, facing outward as he replies to unseen person. "That kind of help I can use. Let me know by morning." With little further fanfare, he turns inward and approaches the bar, taking note of the odd man continuing to pantomime on the stage. Dim light provides some details to the casual viewer. He wears a sword, highly weathered but in good repair. And although bearing the symbology of Cortesia, his clothing has a more military feel to it, and could best be described as a uniform.

Dropping a couple of coin into the meaty hand of the orc-blooded bartender, the man waits patiently as his unspoken order is fulfilled, giving himself a chance to look over the current patrons. When a beer is set before him, he takes a rather serious sampling of it, smirks knowingly, and finally addresses the other patrons with a raised voice. "I'm looking to hire a group. Well seasoned, willing to travel, and ready to leave at a moment's notice. I'll be conversing with potential applicants in one of the meeting rooms."

Having given his announcement, the would-be employer heads towards one of the rooms. However, as he passes by Ethane, he stops, looking intently. His hard expression softens to concern, and he speaks in a considerably more subdued tone in comparison to the announcement to the room. "It concerns Tritower. The news... is bad. You'll want to know, whether you take the job or not."

With that, the Cortesian steps into one of the meeting rooms.

Barlo had been chitchatting with Ethane, but their conversation had lulled once they were watching the man open the door and talk with someone outside. It wasn't as it things were of a concern, but rather there was not much else going on at that particular moment to draw the bard's attention.

Though, upon hearing the announcement and the man's comment to Ethane as he walked past their table, Barlo was extremely interested. "Well, now. Here we were discussing Tritower and the opportunity to potentially have a worthwhile reason to go there presents itself, Ethane. Fancy that. eh?"

"I think I shall hear what the man has to say."


He rose from the chair and followed after the man into the private room. He assumed Ethane was coming with.

Ethane had enjoyed the bard's talk. It was useful to have someone who was knowledgeable about Venza, and Ethane did ask alot of questions. Just as Barlo had done with the recent arrival, Ethane had looked over at the man who had just entered as well. This was the second time that someone had lingered at the door while Ethane was visiting here. The other one was that scarred man who called for some patrons by name before they disappeared into the back room.

Watching as the man made his announcement, Ethane's curiosity was peaked. However, it was when the man said something to him about Tritower that Ethane's curiosity turned to concern. Having been helping the Tritower area, Ethane always had a strong attachment to it. It was the closest thing to a permanent home he had.

Ethane looks at Barlo and nods, saying "Indeed. One might call it luck, or even fate." Grabbing his gear that lay beside him, Ethane follows Barlo into the back room.

Vencenzo - Venzin Swordsman: Entrance and exit

A human walks in wearing smart travel clothing a backpack, a rapier at his side and a bow and quiver on his shoulder. Most warriors would be sporting many many more weapons, but this one does not. His confidence is high despite the road grime.

"Grog," He calls as he is entering through the door, "Remind me NEVER to go hunting necromancers ever again!" He shakes the dust off outside the door from his hat, interestingly he wears no armor, "Those people do not have their head screwed on right at all."

Marla gives him an evil eye as he is about to cross the room< "Could I pleas get some white wine from the easrn hills, Aradenelli vinyards if possible? I need to get the dust off my boots before Marla deals with me harshly"

He steps outside and kicks the road off of his boots, which seem to shake off the dust easily.

Walking back in he catches Marla's eye and points to his feet, and getting a nod of approval he walks up to the bar.

"Ders uh man in duh back rum fer ya" Grog says. he hands a wooden goblet of wine and points to the back room with a hand holding a towel. in the other is a mug he was cleaning.

Thanks Grog!"

"Two udder are alreddy dare" then Grog spits in the mug and continues cleaning it.

Vincenzo walks to the back room with his goblet of white wine. Grog had actually had wine from the vineyard he asked for. One of these days, Vincenzo will find a wine the half orc bar tender does not have.

After Vincenzo leaves, Grog is is heard muttering something about "that swishy stick man".
