Artemis Fowl, LEPRecon and Spycraft

Just picked up and am reading Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer (anyone read it?)

Anyway (I've only read the start but) its set in modern times about a 13 yr old Genius/Criminal who has a ex-Secret Service Bodyguard who has dealings with the Little People - Fairy, Elves, Goblins, Dwarfs etc who have retreated underground (to the Earths core) due to the rise and expanision of Humans (Mud-Men). The Fairy People have high-tech Laser weapons and othe tech, magic and the people to mesmerize humans.

Anyway in the book Artemis Fowl must help the Fairy People to find out who is smuggling illegal human tech Underground.

So has anyone done a similar campaign? - ie one in which Sprite Police Officers run stakeouts on Goblin Street thugs lead by a human Mastermind?

Do you think Spycraft (or Modern) could do this campaign?

Well, you ARE reading the second book, so you probobly missed the fact that Artimus grabbed alot of fairy gold, and the fairys hate him for it. But I think that it could be the perfect blend of Sci-fi, spycraft, and D&D.

SA: extreme sarcasm (cause 1 point temp wis. damage with 1 minute of rebuke. make a Cha check opposed by a Will save, if you succeed, they take the damage)

Fairy Magic: All Fairies (except for centaurs) have magic. They gain 1,000 Magic Points (MP) by performing The Ritual. these are recharged every time The Ritual is performed.
