Brae smiles and stands, nodding his head to the man in leather. "Thanks again for the information. If you think of anything else, you know where to find us." With that, the cleric follows his companions.

OOC: How much did the round of drinks cost so I can update my character sheet?
OOC: If Brae really wanted to splurge, maybe 1gp. If not, 5sp. ;)

Scotley

The air is biting cold outside after the warmth of the tavern. Even if it wasn't the pleasant comfort of the Polished Stave it was still better than the sting of winter cold and the dusting of snow that awaits on the streets. The days are getting short, but there is still time to follow more leads before nightfall.

After moving down the street a few feet, Raul turns and suggests, "Greenspire is where I want to go next. Tam Morgan may have told more truth than the courts gave him credit for. Shall we all go, or just a couple of us?"

"Well, it seems we have few enough leads," says Brae, pulling his heavy oilskin cloak closer about his body to help ward off the wind. "So Greenspire sounds like a good place to start."

Greespire Prison

The Constables have decided to visit Greenspire Prison, which is located in the 4th Ward, on the northeast side of the Ward, adjacent to the 6th. From the 14th, your most direct route takes you through the 10th Ward to the 3rd Ward, and across the 3rd to the 4th. The 4th is a very sharp-cornered, orderly ward, with arrow-straight streets and many flags flying. In due course, you arrive outside Greenspire, a former fort from Lauralie Summerhome's early days. The central keep, behind an imposing and well-fortified wall, is five stories tall, and has a very tall, conical, copper, verdigrised roof, which gives the prison its name. You are met at the outer gatehouse by well-armed and -armored guards. "Names and business, Constables, if you please?"

"Braevil Talisker, sirs," says Brae politely, nodding a greeting to the guards. "We're here to see a prisoner, one Tam Morgan."
