SoulFetter lowers himself from the lip of the shaft and makes good use of the handholds to lower himself down.

[sblock=OOC]Take 10 on the climb check. With the +5 from the hand holds that gives him a 24.[/sblock]

Seeing Soulfetter and Alarion completely ignore Tau, Brae shakes his head and moves back to the deathclaw's lair. There he tries to carry/roll the force sphere back to the well, so that it can be hooked up to the pulley.

Tau is sitting on the ground holding some of the rope in his lap, not looking at the hole before them. He is making some calculations about the rope's length, strength, and other forces involved in the operation that he has planned. He looks up to see someone descending. He jumps up and looks down into it to find Soulfetter and Alarion attempting to climb down.

"What are you doing? I don't know if my plan will work without you lowering us down Soulfetter! You could have at least TOLD me!" Tau appears to be a mixture of angry and depressed. He begins muttering about no one ever listening to him.

Seeing Brae roll over the 'Bowl' of Force, Tau brightens up a little. "Thank you. Maybe we can get this working after all." Tau begins work, hooking it up to the rope.

Kerlan begins the task of attaching rope to the force bowl. But there are no projections to which rope or anything else can be affixed. OOC: What's the plan, exactly?

SoulFetter hears some plaintive whining from whence he descended.

Sighing heavily at all the hullabaloo, SoulFetter makes his way back up the shaft (not that he'd made his way that far down anyway).

"What is it?" he asks as his head tops the lip of the shaft. "I was headed down to make sure it's a good place to end up."
