    Thought y'all would be interested.

Cool I might have to get this and the Monster Vault.

$40 seems really expensive for that.
The Meloran Gnomes are a fey people that historically lived along the banks of the Melora River and two of its tributariesŚthe Heart and Knife RiversŚapproximately 150 leagues west of Fallcrest in the present-day Nentir Vale. Speakers of Gnomish, an Elvish dialect, the people developed a settled culture in contrast to that of more nomadic gnome tribes in the Great Plains region. They established permanent villages featuring large, round, earthen lodges some 40 feet in diameter, surrounding a central plaza. Primitive industry, agriculture, and trade with the bisonmen were key to their daily life.

Approximately 15,000 strong at their peak, a plague outbreak has reduced their numbers to approximately 125.

$40 is expensive if you already have a DMG. But for new players, that's a pretty good deal in my opinion. The tokens seemed to be the same thin ones like in the red box though.

I am a sucker for poster maps, wish they would sell those separately.

Is this the set where Magic Items will be detailed? This seems almost more of an adventure how-to and beyond.

Yeah if you don't have a DMG all that stuff in addition to the rules for only 10 more dollars... Plus a box to keep stuff in?

As someone who owns a DMG already though-

I was on the fence about this leading towards not buying it at first... After the first preview I was starting to lean back towards buying it...

I think I've tipped into will be buying it at some point...

I'm a sucker for fiddly bits what can I say?

    Definitively getting that.

I am still on the fence with red box. But its just a few bucks here... so I maybe should get it. Hmmh...

The tokens are thin and monster specific, the DM screen is thin, the DM Book is softcover and digest sized.

I'm also not a fan of poster maps (too specific and 5' chairs and 15' tables, etc., are ridiculous) and prefer dungeon tiles. But that's a matter of taste.

You still can't play the game with just this box.

So yeah, I think it's overpriced. The NRB (new red box) is only $20 MSRP, right? There's no way this is $20 better.
