$40 is expensive if you already have a DMG. But for new players, that's a pretty good deal in my opinion. The tokens seemed to be the same thin ones like in the red box though.

I am a sucker for poster maps, wish they would sell those separately.

Yeah if you don't have a DMG all that stuff in addition to the rules for only 10 more dollars... Plus a box to keep stuff in?

As someone who owns a DMG already though-

I was on the fence about this leading towards not buying it at first... After the first preview I was starting to lean back towards buying it...

I think I've tipped into will be buying it at some point...

I'm a sucker for fiddly bits what can I say?

The tokens are thin and monster specific, the DM screen is thin, the DM Book is softcover and digest sized.

I'm also not a fan of poster maps (too specific and 5' chairs and 15' tables, etc., are ridiculous) and prefer dungeon tiles. But that's a matter of taste.

You still can't play the game with just this box.

So yeah, I think it's overpriced. The NRB (new red box) is only $20 MSRP, right? There's no way this is $20 better.
