[title]The Essentials Assassin[/title]

If you're a DDI subscriber, you can grab a 20-page PDF which details the Essentials Assassin from the official D&D website.
The Assassin class is exclusive to D&D Insider. This time around, we bring you the revamped assassin in Dungeons & Dragons Essentials style. This version doesn’t replace the assassin from Dragon 379; it’s a different take on this iconic class with an Essentials approach. What we’re offering here is the playtest version of the assassin. You’re looking at something that’s still being worked on by our designers, developers, and editors. This article presents a complete assassin build—the executioner—from 1st to 30th level.

If you're not a DDI subscriber, check out this mini preview.

The class features include Attack Finesse (Dex instead of Str, plus extra damage), Quick Swap (change weapons as a free action), selection of an Assassin's Guild which defines your starting weapon proficiencies, an Assassin's Strike power which does extra damage, and a ki-focus which can make non-magical weapons magic. Additionally, you gain the use of posions and can learn poison recipes. At higher levels, you gain the use of disguises, better poisons, and a number of shadow-based powers.
