Question - Is there a reason there are no Monks?

Haven't found any thing detailing that they or any other psionic class isn't allowed but I don't see any on the approved character list. Is there a reason for that? The material is old enough, right?

    Thanks!

Monks are legal. I suspect that the reason there are none in the Approved List is because not everyone remembers to update it.

I was quite tempted to retire and remake my kobold as a monk. I liked the Iksar Monks in Everquest, so I'm a bit nostalgic.

    Maybe for my third character!

Working on a half orc monk right now, torn between him and an elven monk. But the character creation process is hell! Is there an easier way to create one? Editing a wikia page seems like it doesn't get everything?

if you go elven monk maybe you could copy my semi-abandoned character Xerxes as a shortcut

Thanks! Consider him copied! Think I'm going half orc for the interesting nature of the character. Short tempered but attempting to keep his calm. Very undiplomatic but attempts to be nice, problem isn't his lack of social niceties but a gruffness to his personality.

We'll see how it goes, was trying to decide between the monk, psion, and sorcerer. I think the monk will be fun to roleplay, in and out of combat.

Also, do we need to use the google docs spreadsheet also?
