OOC: I've only been in the isles for a few days, but somehow: history (1d20+1=15) Hooray for abstract systems ;)


Sound of Stone puts his sling away, but keeps both it and his spear in easy reach on his hip and back respectively.

Artemis is puffing when he stops running. His hands on his knees.

"Whoa... whoa... Hold up..." His hand up before him.

He straightens up. "So are what you really asking is, 'have we seen Thogorius?' or are you really asking 'do we have to eliminate these guys so they don't find him first?' "

"Because I'm thinking you know the answer to number 1. And you are not going to be happy with the answer to number 2."

[sblock=terrain]The various stand, fountains, etc offer cover and count as very difficult terrain (3 squares to enter). Once inside, you have cover against melee and ranged attacks but your own melee attacks have a -2 penalty to hit.

I hope is clear what do each token represent.[/sblock]

As his blade bites deep into both of his chosen foes, he lets a nasty grin to appear on his face.

[sblock=Ack! So fast!] I forgot to mention that I have Battlefront Shift, which allows one ally to shift half their movement before battle begins. Maybe not so much of a problem this battle, as they are all on one side of us, but it could be very helpful later. If Sound or Bones wants to use it now, just go ahead. [/sblock]

Sensing trouble, Bones gives Domenicos a wink and slips around behind one of the market stalls, attempting to stay out of sight. He quickly draws a dagger and throws it end-over-end at one of the halberd-wielding goons.

Sound of Stone dashes into the center of a nearby knot of adversaries, his lower set of arms reaching behind him as he goes, drawing his spear and passing it to the upper pair.

With a clacking screech - his insectioid ki-ai - he lashes out suddenly, striking his foes with both ends of his spear in a lightning fast flurry of blows, that leaves the two weaker thugs sprawled unconscious or dying. With his free hands, he lashes out at the two remaining assailants, raking his biscuits claws across their faces and bodies.
