As a side-trek from this thread , I am contemplating Nacre - the demi-plane of Pearl. Every naturally-occurring pearl would have an infinitesimal link to this plane. Gathered in great numbers, the pearls hold a magic of their own.
Oysters are not the only creatures to hold pearls. There are also pearls within conchs, clams, scallops, abalone, nautili, pen shells, and more. For inspiration I am looking at the Nine Pearls and the Pearl of Lao Tzu .
What might you do, to cultivate this concept?
