Gil beams from ear to ear, Making good impressions on the references, doing really well with the first impressions here. As the wizard thinks this, he realizes it''s the second time in mere hours he had found himself daydreaming of living in Daunton.

Glad to be be apart of the team Artemis! excitedly chirped Gil, The feeling of being accepted was new, but it felt great to him.

Halcyon rises stubbornly to his feet once more and musters his strength for another all-out attack, but all the damage he has sustained is slowing him down noticeably and the big hobgoblin has little trouble swatting the blow aside.

GM: No kidding. On a tough fight, Lay on hands allow a lot more extra damage than Ardent Vow if you factor the attacks made by PCs (Halcyon included) who wouldn't have been up to fight without the extra healing.

On a fight that's not so tough, Ardent Vows will allow more damage while Lay on hand is useless, but you were winning easily anyway so...

It's like having to chose between a player that post great stats during the season but chokes during the playoffs and a grinder that plays honestly during the season but really picks up the pace when it matters.

Queen, in a look of frustrations pounds the wall with metallic fists. At point of impact the construct explodes into a veritable Fog of Insects. The tiny bugs consume the boss and make it hard to see, after a moment they retract forming a defensive matrix around queen and leaving the boss with a few tiny cuts he didn't have before.

Queen steps back from the wall and the falls back reverting to dog form. Releasing more tiny constructs and strengthening the matrix.
Fight Me Queen says without the strength necessary to make the words mean anything.

OOC: Natural one is still automiss isn't it? #onlylearningrulesastheycomeup

OOC: That sounds right, I was referring to critical misses that are in some rpgs and a lot of home rules where if you roll a one you have a chance to; stab your buddy, break your weapon, trip and fall, watch your weapon explode, ect.
