The hobgoblin is really, really tired of being cooked by the Flaming Sphere. A power lash of his chain knocks the brave Lenard unconscious. He pays the price tough; Owen doesn't let this assault go unpunished and gives the gang leader a deep cut for his trouble.

Mikara slinks past Gil, who barely notices. When she reaches the corner of the Hanged man, she nocks an arrow and lets fly,

The arrow sails down the street striking the gangster the throat. Gasping for breath, the hobgoblin falls to his knees.

As he takes his last breath, he looks up into the blood-spattered eyes of his killer, standing in the middle of the street, fingering the string of her bow like a musical instrument...of death. The chauvinistic pig is not too thrilled to see that a woman has brought him down.

"I hope the money was worth it."

Owen collapses to one knee as the hobgoblin leader falls to Mikara's arrow. A hoarse cheer rises from his throat. A brief moment to catch his breath is all he allows himself, though. One ragged inhalation, and he rises back on his feet to tend to the fallen, although his lack of training makes any such attentions largely symbolic. He stands over the fallen scholar and looks around.

"Can someone help me with Lenard?"

Failling to stem the damage Queen steps back, That would have worked on a deer.

As the hobgoblin falls, shadows once again darken Artemis's face, outlining every line, wrinkle and hallow fill with darkness. A moment passes, and the shadow fades, absorbed into him.

He shudders, then starts to move, "Let us see to our friends."

While leaning over Halcyon, he meets Mikara's eyes briefly and nods once.

"Will someone check on the bartender please?"
