She comes looking for things to aid her in her next adventure, leisurely perusing the options for armor, weapons, and other gear. Eventually, Charity gets the attention of the proprietor, "Um, sir? I was looking for a few special materials items."
The man draws himself up proudly. "We have many such items for sale, a lot of them in back, so just ask. Our stock is wide and varied!"
Looking down at a list she has prepared, Charity notes the first item, "A light hammer, alchemical silvered."
Almar Ben Shawari smiles, "Oh yes, we have those, a very common item. Anything else?"
"Umm," Charity hesitates, before continuing, "Lucerne Hammer with a darkwood haft?"
"Oh, yes, and with lovely embossing to boot," Almar boasts.
"How about a Mithral Agile Breastplate..." The flame haired Venzan woman asks, seemingly feeling more confidant.
"Of course! Too easy! I have one right in back," the proprietor banters, obviously enjoying himself.
"With with a beginning protection enchantment!" Charity blurts out, playing right along.
Almar holds up his hand, as if about to confirm her latest wish, but stops short. "Err… no. Just the basic item… but it is very nice, and with a little time, perhaps you can have it enchanted… but you'll have to leave it here."
"Oh… hunh. Sure, guess I'm in no hurry, then." Charity thinks a moment more, speaking a bit more positively, "Yes, I think that will be fine. I'll come pick it up when it's been upgraded."
"Excellent! Come, let us count the money and finalize the transaction…" Almar merrily counts out the gold necessary for the items, taking old items in trade to help cover the cost, for a final trade of 5,147 coins.

A tanned, redheaded apparent woodsman slides into the Pearl. He taps the tip of his hood, and his features shift slightly as the hood itself becomes a hat he removes.
"Been away awhile, came into some spare coin," he says to the attendant on duty. "Looking for what you have that can boost my senses, muddy my enemy's, add to the punch my goddess gives me, and cover my behind, yes?"
He plunks a large pouch of gems on the countertop, and the attendant's eyes light up. He asks some quick questions to determine the extent of Eanos's native abilities, then rushes about the shop.
"If hiding is what you're after, this little trinket is right up your alley," he says. "combines what that hat of yours does with extra camoflauging capabilities."
Eanos assesses the plain band, then nods. In quick succession, he likewise accepts a pair of violet-lensed goggles, an enhanced replacement for his current cloak, a healing wand for the one he's nearly used up, and another scroll for restoring the loss of inherent abilities.
The woodsman pats his waist, asking, "Anything like this? Helps me move quicker and quieter."
The attendant frowns, then runs to the back as Eanos waits, then finally comes back with a triumphant grin.
Eanos exchanges some of his older gear for the new set, as well as parting with a fair chunk of his newly-received wealth. He does keep several valuable gems.
"Might be time to buy a better house," he ponders. "But we'll see."
At the door, the red haired man nods. He makes a fist a moment, and the magic of the ring once again obscures his features. He nods, then slides back out into the Venzan streets.

A rather worn rough looking 1/2 Orc enters and searches the inventory settling on some armor and a belt. He unceremoniously removes his armor and a ring and places them on the counter adding a bag of gold. "I would like to sell these items, they have served me well and I am confident they will do the same for another. I would also like to purchase these and here is the balance of what is owed after the credit for my items."
