And, I just noticed that WotC's online catalog has been updated until the end of the year....

Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game Official Home Page - Product Catalog

Heroes of the Feywild
D&D Game Supplement, Player's Option
Rodney Thompson and Steve Townsend

Ready to explore your character's wild side?

Player’s Option: Heroes of the Feywild enables players to weave elements of the Feywild into their existing and future characters, in much the same way that Player’s Option: Heroes of Shadow gave players reasons to explore their characters’ dark connections to the Shadowfell.

This book contains exciting new character builds and options that are thematically rooted to the Feywild, a wild and verdant plane of arcane splendor, full of dangerous and whimsical creatures. Characters who trace their origins or backgrounds to the Feywild gain access to unique feats, powers, and mechanics. The book explores what makes fey-themed characters so fun and distinct.

The Shard Axe
Marsheila Rockwell

Sentinel Marshal Sabira d'Deneith has spent the last eight years trying to drown the memories of the mission that cost her partner his life and gave her the nickname, the Shard Axe. But all the old memories come flooding back when she's recalled from the city of Stormreach to carry out a mission on House Deneith's behalf—to protect and defend the heir of the dwarven city of Frostmantle during his murder trial. The same heir she and her partner guarded eight years ago in the same city—from the same style of murders.

Is the dreaded Nightshard still alive and taunting her? Or is there another serial killer loose in the Mror Holds?

Wait, a new novel with the DDO branding? That's kind of odd.. you'd think they'd be focusing more on Cryptic's Neverwinter game.

Wait, a new novel with the DDO branding? That's kind of odd.. you'd think they'd be focusing more on Cryptic's Neverwinter game.

It's an Eberron novel, and branding it with D&DO will probably give it more visibility than branding it with Eberron.

I'm curious about that board game, Dungeons of Dread. It says "game board" and that it comes with 4 adventures. That makes me worry that its not going to be compatible with Castle Ravenloft or Wrath of Ashardalon, but rather be more like a traditional board game. The $35 price point, as opposed to the $60 of the previous board games, seems to suggest a different style.

Yep, it also mentions that it requires a DM, so it's probably not going to use the 'D&D Adventure System'.
