The two extraplanar foes wink out of existence where they stand, and suddenly reappear ten feet behind the wizards, where they each make a single attack (against undefended rear AC), the babau striking at Capizzio with its longspear, and the Bearded Devil striking at Tylara with its glaive, both of which weapons have reach. Larin Karr pulls out a wand and fires three magic missiles at Tau.

longspear (1d20+12=21, 1d8+7=14)

Bearded Devil vs. Tylara:
glaive (1d20+11=15, 1d10+6=15)
the devil's glaive inflicts a wound that continues to bleed until some healing is given, but I doubt whether a 15 even hits....

Larin Karr vs. Tau:
magic missile wand (5d4+5=18)

Had trouble with built-in dice roller and fell back to Invisible Castle.

OOC: Whew, mage armor and protection from evil for AC16 flatfooted. Now that she knows they are back there Dex and buckler will bring it up to 21...

Tylara jumps as a polearm narrowly misses her. She takes a defensive stance and tries another spell. A cloud of golden particles rains down on the two attackers to the rear.

[sblock]Concentration check to cast defensively. (1d20+10=24) Must make a DC18 will save to avoid blindness. Spell resistance does not apply. Any stealth checks they make are now at -40. Duration 6 rounds.
