Simeon ranges out ahead of the group and giant, in case there was more than one around. He quickly and quietly finds a place to watch the trail and the party. He keeps his shield in hand instead of opting to get his bow back out.

Underdark-Quest :The Vault of Larin Karr, Cont -- Aftermath of Hill Giant Battle

Capizzio finds a large leather sack that holds 3,000 gp, 4,500 sp, and 7 roasted haunches of reasonably fresh mutton.

The ever-alert Simeon sees something extremely alarming: The very air in the passageway begins to waver and a great ship appears! Oddly enough, the ship appears to be sailing right along the passageway at approximately shoulder height. Simeon's cries of alarm bring the attention of the wizards, and all stand in mute wonder for a split second before this spectacle. At the helm of the ship stands a one-eyed, one-legged, very bedraggled mariner whose manner of flamboyant dress, peg-leg, eyepatch, and tattoos fairly scream, "Pirate!" He also has long locks of wild, unkempt red hair. He, the Captain, throws a scroll-case overboard in your direction with an, "Arrr," and continues sailing down the passage for a few yards more before he melds into the wall and disappears.

Cappizzio watches where the scroll case falls to. When it lands he says to the others, "please tell me I am not the only one who just saw that.

Kerlan stands with the others, watching in amazement as the ship floats past and disappears into the stone. "Well, that was random." After it's gone Kerlan lightly slaps Simeon on the shoulder, "You gotta love magic, right?" He grins and chuckles as he picks up the scroll case. He uses Detect Magic to see if there's anything magical about it. If not, he opens it up.
