Quagmire nods sharply and retreats, enduring a blow from the warforged for his troubles.

OOC: Shift to H21. Q takes an MBA.

Though hindered by Brenn's arrows, Cur Exsixten advances.

THIS IS NO INFECTION, IT IS A TRANSMUTATION FROM A LAWFUL STUPID AXE-BRAIN TO A CHAOTIC AWESOME DAWG. IT IS REPLACING THE FICTIONAL LORDS OF AWESOME WITH TWISTED SIMULACRUMS THAT IS SLOWLY DISMANTLING THE "SIR" PERSONALITY MATRIX THAT YOU PEASANTS <FOR SOME REASON> WANT BACK.

DOGBREATH? NO ONE INSULTS SIR EXSIXTEN AND GETS ANYWHERE WITH THESE FEEBLE ATTEMPTS TO USURP MY CONTROL. SURRENDER AND BOW BEFORE ME, TOGETHER WE SHALL RULE THE WORLD AS ALPHA AND PACK!

With that, he tears into Quagmire, then takes the hobgoblin down with a massive blow and tears into Andras.

Sir Exsixten's voice comes from somewhere inside the beast, as if from a great distance.

CITIZENS, THE CHAMPION OF AWESOME IS LOST AND CAN'T FIND HIS WAY. THERE IS GREAT EVIL SO CLOSE HE MIGHT SMELL IT IF HIS MASS SPECTROMETER WASN'T MALFUNCTIONING, BUT LACK OF WAVELENGTH-FREQUENCY ANALYSIS MAKES PHYSICAL APPREHENSION IMPOSSIBLE!

OOC: Short Turn Summary: Quagmire takes 75 damage, is marked, dying stuff, -2 AC(save ends). Takes 2d12+3(or more) and slowed at start of turn.
Andras takes 22 damage, marked, prone, -1 to AC(save ends), 2d12+3(or more) and slowed at start of turn.
Cur Exsixten is at 11+312/500hp in G21. Status Effects: slowed, vulnerable 5 damage, +1 AC/saves, 2d12+3(or more) and slowed to PC starting adjacent.

Keep talking guys - this Cur Exsixten is terrifying, has more nasty tricks up his "sleeve", and needs to be stopped. I think the talking/kiting strategy would be the best thing to do.

    Actions
Before Turn: Combat Challenge MBA: 1d20+20=31 vs Quagmire's 29 AC, hit, 2d12+10=19(reroll 1)=27 damage, marked, -1 to AC(save ends), Cur Exsixten gains 5 THP
Start of Turn: Regen 10 to 5+250/500hp. Take -1 to defenses from mini-skill challenge.
Minor: Diamond Cincture: -1 Fort, spend a surge, heal 62hp
    Move: Move to K22.
Standard: Charge to I21, MBA: 1d20+20+1(charge)=23 vs Quagmire's 29 AC, miss.
AP: Standard: Boulder Charge: Charge through Quagmire to G21, 1d20+20+1(charge)=36 vs Quagmire's 28 AC, hit, 3d12+10+5(Con)+2(THP)+2(Bloodied)=48 damage, now -2 to AC(save ends), Cur Exsixten gains 11 THP, 29 vs Andras' 25 AC, hit, 3d12+10+5(Con)+2(THP)=22(reroll a 1)=22 damage vs Andras, marked, -1 to AC(save ends), knocked prone.
Start of Quagmire and Andras Turns: Take 2d12+3(+2 more if THP, +2 more if bloodied) and slowed TenT

Immediate Interrupt: Combat Challenge: If a creature marked by Cur Exsixten shifts or makes an attack that doesn't include him, he makes an MBA against them (+20 vs AC, 2d12+10 damage and gain 5 THP).

Status Effects: slowed, vulnerable 5 cold, +1 AC and saves, PCs starting adjacent take 2d12+3 damage and are slowed while he can make OAs

Nice turn, Iron Sky! It looks like we're going to have to kill Cur Exsixten about 5 times over just to get through all his surges.

One concern: Quagmire looks to be standing on difficult terrain (H21), so I'm not sure if Cur Exsixten is going to be able to charge through him while slowed.

OOC: Clearing 1 square of difficult terrain jumping would be DC10. Cur Exsixten's Athletics is +17, so he can't fail

GM: Don't forget about the damage from being next to Cur ExSixTen.

Andras taunt seems to have shorted out some of Cur ExSixTen's circuits as red oil starts to ooze out of his gears.

<DANGER ANGER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS FAILING...SELF REPAIR SYSTEMS FAILING...BACKUP REPAIR SYSTEMS FAILING...TAUNT UNACCEPTED...DIVIDE BY ZERO ERROR...ERROR CODE ALPHA BETA SQUARE>

GM: Cur ExSIxTen may no longer heal or gain THP.

Skill Challenge, Bring back Sir ExSixTen!

Sucesses so far: -3 to defenses, Cur ExSixTen can no longer heal HP or THP.

Using the same skill 2 more rounds in a row brings about a cumulative -2 to the check.

Somewhere deep inside the Warforge's memory core is the real Sir ExSixTen. He may look like a murderous canine now, but the awesome fighter of destruction is somewhere inside.

Once per turn as a minor action you can make a skill check DC 23 (any skill you can justify), each success brings SirExSixTen's real self closer to the surface, bringing about various combat benefits.

    Combatants

    Cur Exsixten:
    AC: 29+1, Fort:26, Reflex:22, Will:22
HP:11+312/500, Bloodied:250 slowed EONT Brenn, +5 to damage & grants CA SONT Quagmire,+5 power bonus to damage rolls until the end of the encounter, vulnerable 5 cold, +1 AC/saves, 2d12+3 and slowed to PC starting adjacent

Jax:79/79 CA against Cur Exsixten TENT

    Dorn:83/83

Andras:12/66 +2 bonus to damage rolls until the end of the encounter, marked, -1 to AC(save ends), prone

After seeing the hurt Cur Exsixten just put out, Jax decides to keep his distance. He throws his dagger at the forgedwere's feet. It strikes one front leg and ricochets off the other before returning to his hand. Large blocks of ice immediately encase the struck legs, weighing down Cur Exsixten.

He continues trying to talk down his werewolf friend. "What about Quagmire? Do you really want his death on your hands? I mean, your claws. Paws? Whatever those things are!" It doesn't seem like his words have much effect though, so Jax's kobold instincts kick in and he flees from combat.

    Jax actions / stats
Standard: RBA vs Cur Exsixten hits AC 36 for 26 cold damage. (1d20+22=36;1d4+2+2+5+5=18;3d8+4=8)
--Free: Frost Dagger on hit, deals another 20 cold damage and Cur Exsixten is slowed TENT. (I added the vulnerability and Andras's +5 damage for this, since it's not "extra" damage and it is a damage roll). (2d8+5+5=20)

Minor: Insight to de-werewolf Cur Exsixten fails (1d20+11=17)

    Move: walk to E11.

    PC:Jax (Dekana) - L4W Wiki- Male Kobold, 11 Rogue / Daggermaster

    Initiative +13
    Action Points: 0 (encounter)

    Conditions
    Invisible TENT

    Powers
    MBA: +18 vs AC, 1d4+12; or with CA, +21 vs AC, 1d4+14 + 3d8+4 (1/turn)
    RBA: +19 vs AC, 1d4+11; or with CA, +22 vs AC, 1d4+13 + 3d8+4 (1/turn)
