    One or the attacking wolfs falls to Rocco's dagger. This enrages the wolves who sprint forward past Primera, two of which gang attack Rocco, both biting down hard on Rocco's arms.

    OOC: Rocco, please roll a save vs being knocked prone


    One wolf attacks Primera, but misses. Another misses Skalisss. Primera stands firm as Garkk approaches. The sturdy unicorn refuses to let the massive beast move forward. Garkk, dazed and confused, roars in anger.

    OOC: dimsdale, roll saves in the future as they are needed so we know where we stand (or lie down as the case may be), I don't mind.

    Save vs Prone (1d20=1) - heh. good place for a 1

    "RRARRGHR! No one drops the mad dwarf without paying. AARRHRGRR!"

    Rocco explodes upward rolling over his shoulder and spreading his hands finishing the spin with a strike toward both wolves. He takes care of his swing, hitting right side wolf with the flat of his axe which almost, but not quite throws his aim. The wolf is solidly thumped over head and falls down, followed quickly by the companion that got stabbed just behind his front leg which collapses under the wolf leaving it helpless.


    Somewhat composing himself after the outburst and seeing no other enemies close he calls out

    "Now, Quan would you be so kind and drop the little wolf so we can focus on the big one? Vimak?"

    OA (Spirit's Shield) vs Ref (W8; W9; W3) (1d20+10+1=23, 1d20+10+1=31, 1d20+10+1=13) - W8 and W9 were dropped by Rocco so it wouldn't matter except this provides healing, Halleck heals 2 times 4 = 8hp - also there is a crit effect, but I need to look it up.


    Nementah continues her strange communication with the wolf
    "We are keepers of the natural world. This one is called Nementah. Me, I am the shaman of the protective spirits of the forest and you have no place here. You overextended yourself. Which we don't mind since killing you will mean freeing the wolves. We destroyed the giants in time you needed to get here."

    but then suddenly changes her language
    "Yes, Rocco, this Garkk is a disturbance. The wolves wouldn't even think about attacking if not for him. And he's danger for them too. Kill him!"

    OOC: @JRYoung, Protective Roots aren't zone, it's an effect. So you have resist all throughtout the encounter.>


    Seeing the wolves mostly taken care of, she sends Primera behind Graxx so she keeps him here. Primera lashes out

    OOC: @Neurotic Got it. For now on all character saves vs an attack effect by enemies will be rolled by me. In addition, all OAs provoked by enemies granted to characters will be rolled as well.

    The heroes, using teamwork, systematically mow their way through the wolves. In a fit of rage the dazed worg charges foward and leaps over the dwarf, giving the heroes multiple attacks at the exposed underbelly of the worg. Their response is brutal, but the Worg still stands. The last remaining wolf attacks Halleck and misses. A worg roars. It is easy to see the evil in its eyes.
