I've seen others at least as bad (if not worse), right now thinking of a Christian rock band who ALSO had no sense of tempo, key, pitch, and what makes a good guitar solo on their own stuff.

There are some truly awful acts out there. A few years ago on New Year's Eve, after the festivities my wife fell asleep on the couch and I sat and watched the telly for hours. More or less the only thing that was watchable was a programme on German television showing clips and live studio performances of pop bands from the late 60s to the late 80s.

There were a couple of famous acts among them, but most of them were really, *really* bad, even by the standards of those days. It was easy to see why I'd never heard of most of the bands. (It was also easy to see why most of the fashion from the 70s should remain in the 70s.)

Still, a performance on German national television is more than I ever achieved with my band.

Hey, at least you- AND all these bad acts posted here- were in a band. That says something. For all my musical abilities, the only true group I have been a part of was the Denver Youth Symphony back in the 1970s.
