New Gale Force Nine Official Dungeons & Dragons Accessories at Gen Con 2011

Gale Force Nine has extended our line of accessories for Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeons & Dragons Role-Playing Game. Throughout the rest of the year we’ll be releasing new token sets and game mats to enhance your dungeon delving and adventuring! Lucky attendees at Gen Con will be the first to purchase almost all of these new releases including token sets for the Character Classes in Player’s Handbook 2, new campaign maps detailing the worlds of the Forgotten Realms and the continent of Khorvaire from the Eberron setting and new game mats representing fantastic encounter areas from the darkest dungeons, to bustling city markets to snow-swept villages. However we only have a LIMITED number of these accessories on hand, so be sure to get them early before they are gone!

Gen Con will be one of the few places players will be able to purchase our new exclusive player token set, the Swordmage! A Swordmage combines the mastery of arcane magic with the disciplines of martial combat for a potent and versatile fighting style. A Swordmage’s blade not only bites with steel, but also with fire, lightning, or other eldritch powers. The Swordmage token set will be on sale in the Gale Force Nine booth at Gen Con. This set is not a general release and will be Hard To Find, so pick up yours while supplies last. Because this set is a special release, we will make it available through the Gale Force Nine Online Store during the four days of Gen Con! The set will be on sale Thursday morning at 11PM EST and only be available online until Sunday night. So even if you can’t attend the show this weekend, you’ll still have a chance to add this accessory to your collection.

We’ll have more show details Thursday, August 4th as we begin to preview our new Battlefield in Box terrain sets and upcoming Dungeons & Dragons releases. If you’re planning on attending Gen Con, be sure to make the Gale Force Nine booth #1431 a first and frequent stop! GF9 at Gen Con Day 1

Gen Con 2011 is underway. During the show GF9 will be pre-selling a limited amount of our wave 2 Offiically Licensed Dungeons & Dragon Game Accessories. Here is a look at some of these new products.

The Forgotten Realms is one of the game’s most beloved and storied campaign settings and now your adventurers can chart their course across its altered landscape in the wake of the Spellplague with The Forgotten Realms Campaign. The map measures 30” x 42” and is printed on durable vinyl, allowing you to mark the surface with wet-erase markers to tailor the map to your individual campaign, record the path that your heroes travel or make notes about encounters and locations. Look for the Forgotten Realms Campaign Map on store shelves soon!

GF9 is expanding its line of popular player character token sets to include the classes from Player’s Handbook 2. Here is your first look at the sets for the relentless Avenger and the indomitable Barbarian.

Each set includes a Character Status Tile; this durable plastic tile is a handy reference for all the variable stats that can change during combat. The tile is designed to work with wet-erase markers so you can quickly modify your status as it changes in battle. Colorful class-specific tokens allow you to mark and track the variety of actions, attacks and arcane assaults that occur during your game session. Each set also includes an Invisibility Stand-In to replace your miniature on the game grid when your character is concealed and a Mount Token to place under your miniature when your character is riding a valiant steed. These sets will be released in the fall so stay on the lookout!

Don’t forget, Gen Con and the GF9 online store is your only place to pick up the Hard To Find Swordmage Token Set, but ONLY during the four days of Gen Con. While originating in the Forgotten Realms, the versatile Swordmage class can be used in any campaign setting!

Here are pictures of two of our new Officially Licensed Dungeons & Dragons Game Mats, Sanctuary of Fate and Red Hall of Vor Koroth. The Game Mats measure 20” x 30” and are marked with a 1” grid. Both of these game mats are based on artwork provided by Wizards of the Coast.

And here is a look at two more of our new D&D Player Character Token sets from our Player’s Handbook 2 series, the clever Bard and wild Druid.

Those mats look nice, as have the ones you have recently put out. Useful for many games, not just 4E.

You just don't know Mark! Man, I felt ambushed by these guys with their awesomeness. Picked up the Convention special, maps, some tools, and one of their little serving sizes of bases.

If I wasn't driving and walking so much I'd have bought some of the terrain as well but I figure there's always Games Plus for that.

GF9 at Gen Con Day 4

Things are wrapping up at Gen Con 2011. Here is our final look at our new wave of Officially Licensed Accessories for Dungeons & Dragons. All of these accessories will be on store shevles in the coming months, so keep an eye out!

Check out two more of our new Officially Licensed Dungeons & Dragons Game Mats, Evermelt and Frozen Wilderness. The Game Mats measure 20” x 30” and are marked with a 1” grid. The Evermelt game mat is based on artwork provided by Wizards of the Coast.

We are especially excited to reveal the Frozen Wilderness game mat. This is our first original art game mat. This art for this mat was created by fan-favorite artist and cartographer, Jason Engle. As you can see, this mat was designed to complement and expand his original Evermelt mat from the Legend of Drizzt Scenario Pack miniature set. This mat can align with the edge of the Evermelt mat to creat an extra-large encounter area or works just as well on its own as advnetures explore a frigid landscape.

And here is a look at the final two new D&D Player Character Token sets from our Player’s Handbook 2 series, mystic Sorcerer and the determined Warden.
