GM: There are 2 sarcophagi, one fully exposed one partially burried. All checks have been on the exposed one. The crawl space and the openning in the wall are made of stone rubble. Only a very experienced tracker would be able to disern if there has been a distrubance in the stone . . .

The young rogue examines the stone coffin again and once again doesn't see anything out of place. There are no locks, latches or hinges. It appears to have a heavy stone lid with the relief of a knight ontop of a stone container.

Nave shakes his head and puts his face in his palm, dramatically. "Just slide that thing open, you dolt! Leave it to the shady type to want to inspect everything so blasted thoroughly..."

Howler lets out an exasperated sigh and sheaths his swords roughly. "I swear, I gotta open every door around here." Grabbing the lid, Howler applies brute strength to the situation.

Joe and Howler both lean into the lid. They dig their heels into the ground, trying not to slip on the stone. It slowly starts to budge, the creeks of stone on stone echo throughout the room. The two lunge into it again as it starts to slide more smoothly off its resting position. With a final heavy, the stone lid appears to have glided off the coffin and crash to the ground opposing the two men. The stone lid is left cracked and a yawning sound can be heard from the sarcophagi as if spirits have been awoken . . .
Within, there lies a mummified remains of a man. He appears to be dressed in simple religious garb and well preserved.

Checking the other tomb, Joe is able to discover a hidden panel along the side of the coffin that should be holding another corpse. The rogue also notices that the left eye's pupil is hollowed out.
