After a night's rest the party readies themselves and head's down towards Khyber's Gate. You can't be sure what you'll find there, but so far each clue has led to a fight and you're ready. As you navigate the cramped and winding passage way, you know you're nearing the location when suddenly the street you were following opens up. Before you lies an open air market, absolutely full with morning patrons trying to get the best deals on everything from produce to cloth to clockwork parts.

The abandoned warehouse looms on the other side, looking quite shabby next some of these merchants. It seems they destroyed another warehouse to make room for the new market. While some merchants have their own thug like protection, you don't see any signs of gang activity or local militia, at least not at first.

There were some difficulties, Narvala thought to herself, in being so obviously what she was (and only that they were working in the streets of Sharn rather than Flamekeep made the line from what to exactly who any difficulty to cross; a casual observer could tell she was a priestess of the Flame, and it would not take a great one to deduce she was a veteran soldier or a skilled spellcaster). She could not slip unobtrusively into the crowd and come up with useful information; she had to watch and learn.

Cairn starts through main thoroughfare of the market, taking care not to trample anyone or destroy property, but expecting mere fleshlings to show some preservation instinct and move aside. He moves intentionally slowly so that they have time to notice him and move.
