Some company is selling Wikipedia articles as books.

I have no clue about that specific book, but I've seen several books that seem to be a compilation of Wikipedia articles like that one.

Welcome to the wonderful world of wiki publishing.

Basically, it's a print-on-demand book which reprints the information on wikipedia in a softcover booklet.

There's a *lot* of them appearing on online bookstores, clogging up the information space.

You can get them on almost any topic! Look here: Lambert M Surhone - Barnes & Noble

Here's the wikipedia article on them. One wonders if it'll appear in a book...

It's a controversial German publisher selling wikipedia articles as books. The one you have there is basically this as a book:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naga_(D...s_%26_Dragons)

    So, yeah.

Edit: wow, this thread went by fast.

......And its yours for $45. Anyone who buys that is going to be pretty angry that they got at most 6 pages for 45 dollars....unless they expance all links or something...

I have seen this junk for sale on Amazon before.

There are so many things wrong with this kind of book I just do not know where to start.

Yep... this is, IMO, a borderline fraud. Hopefully, very few people fall for it.
