Rejection for DDI article isn't so bad

I sent mine on day 1, and still have nothing back. my fear is that the email never got there, somehow (though I didn't get a bounce notice). The 60 day mark is the end of January, though, so I'll remain optimistic that it's in a large pile marked "worth a closer look".

Got mine for this little number, from Stan!.

My pitch was, of course, for junk. But rejection lets me share it for free to everyone, so NO FOUL.

I got responses back on all my pitches sent from Oct 1 through Oct 19; some of my online friends have also received responses on pitches sent during that timeframe.

All over the map really. I suppose you can't read much into the delay. Who knows what pile your submission is in.

It did, they've promised a response to everyone by the end of the January, which would b3 60 days from the close of the submission window.

Received feedback on Friday for my submissions of October 18. Sent many more on November 30; no responses yet.

I got feedback for an October 15 submission last-week Tuesday. It seems they are making their way through them slowly, possibly in the order they were sent.

What I learned: Sending multiple related pitches is not a good idea.
