Dina stands up wiping some sort of angelic ichor from the edge of her mouth.

"NO WAY A HAIRY APE LIKE YOU KEEPS ME DOWN!"

Invigorated she glances back at the barbarian next to her. Ignatz charges the ape impaling it with the tip of his weapon before Dina commands him to swing again, beheading the beast.

OOC: CRAP. I keep forgetting about that stupid rule that only lets a creature take 1 free action attack each turn. So consider my action point to be used to ready an action to use Commander's Strike when someone else's turn begins.

OOC: Bl2 should have had to make a save against dropping the red orb in the first round when it took lightning damage for attacking Dina while she held the yellow orb. Corragan, can you pick up the yellow orb again by any chance?

Ignatz explodes in a blur of joyful violence. Dina's glance, full of vengeful ire, is all the impetus he needs, and a moment later he crashes into the spiny ape like a bolt of lightning. "Ho, Hy tink not, hyu ogly ting," he crows, "No vun touches her!" The ape's ruined corpse doesn't quite reach the ground before Ignatz is off again, thoughtless in his pursuit of another foe on whom he can cut loose.

Ignatz sprints toward the nearest enemy, the sigil on his weapon leaving a trail of icy blue glow, but the caster in the back catches his eye. That one had also hurt his lovely little angel of wrath, and it would never do so again. He swipes at his initial target half-heartedly, but he's already running toward the hooded caster. He roars, and moments later the blue orb falls to the wooden floor, stained with wilden blood.

Corragan moves up behind Dina and reclaims the yellow orb that dropped as she fell. Slamming his staff to the floor, he conjured a strong wind to strike at the beast master and dust frog.

Pooling all of his energy, Corragan calls upon the primal powers at his disposal. A large toad bounds forth onto the arena to answer Corragan's call.
[sblock=Actions]Move: Move to Q11
Minor: Pick up yellow orb
Standard: Grasping Tide centred on G6, hitting bl1 and df. Until the end of my next turn, if either moves out of the burst 1, I can make an opportunity action to make a secondary attack, +5 vs Relfex, to knock them prone.

OOC: @Medina , it looks like you planned on spending your AP to summon the Giant Toad, but you didn't place it on the map and you didn't roll the attack it makes when you summon it. Also, you listed a hit on bl1 but your dice rolls say you missed.

[MENTION=60965]Iron Sky[/MENTION], actually, Medina couldn't summon the Toad this round such that it could attack, so you should proceed with the round strictly according to Corragan's OOC account of her turn.

Procedurally Generated
Match Three: A Simple Arena Duel?, Round 2

As Ignatz murders the hell out of two of the enemies in rapid succession, the crowd goes wild, chanting "GO, GO, GO HA-ARD, GO, GO, GO HA-ARD!"

The enemy team turns on Ignatz as the green orb salves their wounds, dealing heavy punishment but unable to drop the resilient half-orc. One of the beastlords also opens fire on Rilissa, burying an arrow in her leg.

Meanwhile, the first "obstacles" crash into the planks, little more than huge wooden blocks, one painted like a mountain range, the other like a whale.

Then the outer edge of the arena shudders and the planks fall away, revealing a twenty foot drop to a watery pool... full of bizarre tentacled sharks.
GM: Map is here.

[sblock=Enemy Actions]Beast Lord 1: Regen 2. Charge to D8, Greatclub(+1 charge): 10 vs Ignatz' 17 AC, miss. Ignatz is marked TenT.

Beast Lord 2: Regen 2. Longbow(Range 20/40): 20 vs Rilissa's 19 AC, hit, 13 damage + 2 fire damage, take 1d4=4 lightning damage. Move to F10.

Stone Frog: Move to D10. Leapfrog: Shift to B10, 14 vs Ignatz' 14 Reflex, hit, 9 damage + 3 fire damage, take 1d4=2 lightning damage. Pick up orb.

Dust Frog: Regen 2. Move to E6, Barbed Tongue(Reach 3): 14 vs Ignatz' 14 Reflex, hit, 8 damage + 4 fire damage, pull 2, knock prone.

Beast Lord 3 and Ape dead.[/sblock]

[sblock=Terrain, UPDATED]Outlined areas are places where terrain is "incoming". It's been fired into the air and will land there at the end of the round. Any creature under it when it lands takes 1d10+3 damage, is pushed out of the terrain's area, and knocked prone.

Each round the outer perimeter of the arena will collapse. Last team still standing on the platform wins. The blue area is water. Falling in deals no damage, but any creature that starts its turn in the water takes an attack: +7 vs AC, 1d10+5 damage and grabbed(escape DC18).

The scaffolding of holding up the arena is DC15 Athletics(climb) as are the 1 square tall "terrain".[/sblock]

[sblock=Orbs!]Picking up Orbs: It takes a minor action while adjacent to an orb to pick it up. Once picked up, it hovers above the character's head (no free hand needed). Each creature can carry only 1 orb at a time.

Dropping Orbs: Orbs can be dropped as a free action. Every time a creature with an orb takes damage, it must make a saving throw or the orb is dropped in its square.

Green Orb: The team gains regen 2 while any team member has the orb and healing powers heal +2 hp.

Red Orb: The team deals +1d4 fire damage on any attack and has resist 5 fire while any team member has the orb.

Yellow Orb: The team gains a "static wall" property while any team member has the orb. Any enemy that hits a member of the team with an attack takes 1d4 lightning damage.

Blue Orb: The team gains +1 to all defenses and DR1 while any team member has the orb.[/sblock]

Corragan Opportunity Actions:

Attacks +5 vs Reflex on BL1 and Dust frog as they leave Grasping Tide area

OOC: @WEContact Sorry, my IC description should have said attacking, rather than hitting. And you're right on the toad; I could either go for the yellow orb or the toad.

As Son of Meepo points out below, I shouldn't get the opportunity attack on bl1, so please ignore that hit.

OOC: @Medina . I thought Grasping Tide missed bl1. You only get to make the secondary attack on a target if the primary attack hit.

"Ignatz, catch!"

Dina rushes forward and tosses her healing infusion on the barbarian. She then conjures a symbol of astral fire. A punishing eye ringed by runes, symbols of her patron deity, Mireva.

[sblock=actions]Move: Run to I 12 (Dina grants CA until start of her next turn).
Minor: Healing Infusion on Ignatz (+10 hp)
Standard: Conjure a Punishing Eye in E8.[/sblock]

OOC: Punishing Eye - Whenever an enemy within 3 squares of the eye takes damage, it takes an additional 5 psychic damage.

Corragan sprints towards the conflict, trying to knock the orb bearers off guard with a flurry of shards and thorns he summons.

Pleased to see the stone frog and one of the beast lords reel at his onslaught, he presses his advantage, calling on the forces of nature to come to his aid, and summoning his own toad to join the battle. The toad strikes at the beast lord, pulling him away from his green orb.

[sblock=Actions]
Move: Move to I8
Standard: Thorn Spray covering H8 to D12: Attacks on bl1, bl2 and sf

Action Point: Summon Giant Toad in G9 to attack bl1[/sblock]

OOC: Forgot the -1 damage for the enemies DR for the Thorn Spray (before the blue orb is dropped), so 15 each from that.

All note, bl1 at -4 to all defences until the end of Corragan's next turn

I changed the move to a move rather than a run, so sf does not get hit after all.
