The old priest scratches idly at a brushy tuft of white hair as he considered. "Well the fire was 50 years ago, so anyone who worked there would have to be pushing 70. I'm not aware of anyone who was a guard. I believe most were killed in the fire, but there could be one around. Some of the old wags in town can surely tell you stories even if they didn't work there. But as I said this was 50 years ago. why do you believe persons so long dead would only now become restless?"

The cleric of Sarenrae shrugs. "As I'm sure you well know, where there are necromancers, there are restless dead."

He only hoped that the Professor has been correct, and that the church had no knowledge of the tomb. The cleric taps his forehead and smiles grimly at Father Grimburrow. "The poor soul has a condition, if you know what I mean." Dannis shakes his head sadly.

"No, our information comes from a journal of the Professor's that we found. Know that we have not yet visited the ruins to confirm his writings, but that is our intent. Which is why you find us here seeking weapons of silver manufacture. Better to be prepared for any eventuality, than to find the rumors are true and not be ready to meet the threat of the restless dead."
