There is no one lurking about around the house that B'rri can find. It does seem that folks are staying close to home and that the village is not as bustling as it was when you first arrived. There is no obvious necromancer watching the house.

Besharrn is able to see what he believes are some tracks in the yard made by the shuffling gait of the undead professor. There is no evidence of anyone else having been on the property. The streets are too hard packed and well traveled for you to find any tracks beyond the yard.

When Besharn returns to the house, B'rri motions everyone to the study for a discussion of the day's events. "It seems we have necromancers killing the living and raising undead. Do we move to the statue for the night to catch whoever is leaving the bloody messages?"

Dannis nods at B'rii's words. "It seems we have few other choices. Staking out the statue sounds like our best option."

The afternoon passes uneventfully and you manage to get some rest. Soon enough evening comes and you see the villagers scurrying home seemingly afraid of the approaching darkness. The monument is down on the riverfront away from the village proper. The closest building is the shack of an old farmer perhaps a 100 yards away. There is not much good cover close to the monument, but there are some trees up the river bank a ways. If you choose to be more obvious in your watching there are a couple of comfortable park benches next to the monument.

"We should probably choose a couple of different spots for our observations. Perhaps the trees for those who have some woodscraft and can remain unseen in the shrubbery, and perhaps that old shack for the rest of us?"
