The druid makes his way to the edge of the pool. Straining, he pulls himself up on the ledge. Turning to the beholder which threw him earlier, he chants loudly, then pushes his hands outwards towards the beholder. A powerful thunderous wave blast into the beholder, leaving the beholder stunned.

NoOOOOOOOOO!

The other beholder roars in anguish after witnessing the druid's powerful attack, initiates a series of powerful attacks against the party. First the beholder moves north and upward. At 20 feet above the ground the beholder blasts the druid again with fire. The attack proves too much for the druid as he collapses to the ground. Another eye gazes at Nemetah. Fear grips her inner soul. She flees the scene, side stepping the warlord to get as far away from the beholder as possible. The beholder than spins around blasting fire at Raijin, the launching a boulder into the far wall, causing part of the wall to give and the nearby ceiling to collapse, blocking the way you came. Realizing what it had done, the beholder smiles wickedly

Now you have no place to run little ones. Now you will die!

4. Alpha wolf presents orb of nature to Lerrick who gives it to Nementah.
5. Halleck finds orb of elements after party defeats band of ogres and a hill giant. He gives it to Raijin.
6. Defeated Bosch's dragonborn minions who tried to disrupt the ritual for removing the mark of Lerrick.
7. Mark is successfully removed from Lerrick by brother Buchta.
8. Encounter the great dragon Bosch for the first time. Dragon leaves but swears revenge.
9. Party returns Lerrick to mother in Daunton, but the father was not there as he was on an urgent task for brother Navio, something related to the shield.
10. Rocco tested for invoking a god. The party as well as other patrons at the tavern help defend Rocco from her wrath.
11. Party helps Druid retrieve artifact: The Branch of Life

Rocco continues running over the body of the beholder, regardless of it's movement, tenacious dwarf hacks away at the beast. He almost looses balance as the beast started moving, but even that miss came close.

He used the momentum of it's roll to plant another telling hit on it. He dis-balanced somewhat to make it stronger, but by his account it was worth it!

He still holds rictus grin
"YEEEE-HAAAAA! Get the other one!"

OOC: [MENTION=79956]dimsdale[/MENTION], I totally spaced on using shadow ring which gives me +1d6 to any damage roll. At the bottom of my actions is total from previous rounds if you want to apply that damage. If not *shrug* my bad.

Raijin's brooch glows and the fires pour over him. His electric aura fades and afterward he seems hardly singed by the powerful fire attack.

These demons are quite deadly, I will change focus to the wounded one...

When his attack proves weak, the sorcerer charges over to the beasts and shouts his frustration. It echoes in the cavern, shaking the flying beasts.

With the Beholder lying stunned next to him Skalisss says a prayer to Netari and swings hard. "Strike now Raijin, before he flies off!"

Repeated attacks from dwarf, runepriest and the potent thunder attack fom Raijin prove too much for the bloodied beholder as it falls to its death. The other beholder is battered as well, taking massive damage from the Quan, Primera and Skalisss. These attacks trigger unexpected events. At the same time, both beholders blasts huge bursts of fire engulfing five nearby heroes. As the flames fade away, the immobilized beholder roars as he sees his one of his own lying motionless on the ground.

Anger and pure rage swells in the immobilized beholder

YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS WITH YOUR LIVES! Then in a more evil sinister voice: I will enjoy eating all of you.

The beholder then unleashes a flurry of new attacks, shooting fire at the paladin, the runepriest and the sorcerer. One of the stalks gaze into the warlord's eyes, but Halleck's will is too strong. Rocco is lifted into the air and thrown into a pool of water where the where the dwarf's plate armor quickly causes him to sink to the bottom.

Summary of Events
1. Prevented a flesh golem from killing the Weinfurter family. Body guard turned bad.
2. Dismantled the Crossed Sword and Skull Gang by killing Leader Hank the Tank
3. Prevented a possible encounter with a pack of wolves...for the moment
4. Alpha wolf presents orb of nature to Lerrick who gives it to Nementah.
5. Halleck finds orb of elements after party defeats band of ogres and a hill giant. He gives it to Raijin.
6. Defeated Bosch's dragonborn minions who tried to disrupt the ritual for removing the mark of Lerrick.
7. Mark is successfully removed from Lerrick by brother Buchta.
8. Encounter the great dragon Bosch for the first time. Dragon leaves but swears revenge.
9. Party returns Lerrick to mother in Daunton, but the father was not there as he was on an urgent task for brother Navio, something related to the shield.
10. Rocco tested for invoking a god. The party as well as other patrons at the tavern help defend Rocco from her wrath.
11. Party helps Druid retrieve artifact: The Branch of Life
