    OOC: Do area attacks ignore the blindness penalty? That'd be convenient. Wouldn't matter here, though, with those low rolls.

    OOC: Blindness grants all target total CONCEALMENT

    Close and area attacks are not affected by concealment, they are affected by cover. Therefore, total (or any other kind of) concealment doesn't give penalty to that (and that's why you can use HEALING WORD on allies in darkness or otherwise concealed from you)


    I got into this same question when I missed by 1 creature with COVER as opposed to CONCEALMENT

    Ettin Hunter

    The hunter tosses a javelin at Martelai, though its throw is off balance, the ettin still manages to wound his target.



    Ettin Wrath Chanter


    The shaman conjures the spirits of wrath, which causes Brenward to rush Tarkus, injuring the cleric.
    The chanter then moves away to join the other side of the battle.



    Ettin Thugs

    The thugs swipe their humungous clubs at their targets, but miss.

    Thug 1 moves and then charges Cyr.
    Thug 2 attacks Kauldron.





    Everyone except for Tarkus can go.

    @Son of Meepo, did you account in your damage for Martelai resist 5 and insubstantial?

    Also, on the start of Thug 1 turn, slide it 3 adjacent to chanter and/or hunter and into the fire (prefer adjacent over fire if only one possible) before the charge.

    OOC: Did Thug2 move somehow? Dox should still be adjacent even after it broke free.
    The unnamed man quickly swaps out his garrote for a thin blade and stabs at the much taller creature. As it reels from the pain, he once again manages to hold it down, this time holding it by some sensitive scruff.
    OOC: Free swap of weapons for Raiper and use Hidden Blade: Hit, 23hp +2 from aura (I added 10 to test if it died from Death Attack, it didn't appear to). It is grabbed and takes -2 to escape and grants CA to all. +1 atk for anyone flanking w/ Dox.

    GM: Fixed, damage reduced from 9 to 2.

    He was already in the fire at the start of the turn, so moving him around in it doesn't deal additional damage since the trigger is enter or end turn in the fire.

    No, but if he ends up adjacent to allies he spreads his ongoing fire...which was the idea And maybe his charge would then provoke from Earth

    Cyr moves away from the enraged ettin, melee was never his strong suit. What was, however, was shutting down enemy casters and ranged attackers.

    He moves by Tarkus and Brenwar, using them as wall against the next charge.

    "Joven, King of Gods, Slylord, Master of lightning, show those under You Your glory."

    Lightnings dance around the hunter and wrath chanter, soundless, but unbearably bright. It is even more so for those inside the display. Two ettins clutch at their eyes which show milky white, with sparks dancing inside as they watch glory of Cyr's patron.

    Warlock shade rushes toward two towering giants and opens himself to the madness of the stars and little portal opens swallowing both giants for the moment. Four ettin heads are treated to the sight of myriad stars shining above them, their perception deepening under the spell assault. They notice every hair on each other heads, every grain on their leathers, grass and flicks of fire, everything. When the portal closes, there appears to be some sensory overload as the heads shake in disbelief.

    Half elf winks out of existence and merges back with his shadow self.

    Actions

    Move: M18, gain concealment
    Minor: Curse Hunter
    Standard: All the Stars, All the Sands vs Hunter Will; WChanter Will; psychic damage; curse (1d20+10-2+2=26, 1d20+10-2+2=21, 2d6+8+2+2+1=21, 1d6=4) - both hit, both dazed TENT, note that original text in the link doesn't include extra damage, I added it when I saw status...2d6+8=16

    Brenwar mumbles an entirely insufficient apology for smacking Tarkus with his warhammer as the rage of the chanter clears. He then takes the opportunity to bless his surrounding allies as he charges the Ettin.
