Great news, but like many others I am in Europe. I want all three books.

In fact I am hoping these are so successful that they do a reprint of Deities & Demigods WITH THE FINISHED JEFF DEE INTERIOR ART! Please make it happen WotC.

There are multiple reasons.

Part of it is that it's a nice display of respect for the older edition-communities, something which WotC has been ignoring (or, to listen to some people, disrespecting) for years now.

Part of it is excitement that WotC is actually doing, rather than just talking about, something that reaches out to older edition fans.

Part of it is that it creates excitement that more older edition materials might be re-released.

There are a lot of reasons to be excited about this.

I've already told my FLGS that I will be buying these.

For those who don't intend to play AD&D and think these won't be useful to them consider the DMG at least. It has quite a few system neutral things in it.
