BACKSTORY
Simon was born to an elven mother and an unknown human father. He spent the majority of his formative years in the woods and natural places. There, Simon's mother taught him the ways of the elves, including outdoor skills, such as hunting and tracking. She also taught Simon the ways of elven enemies, including orcs, goblins, ogres, and giants. When Simon's mother was slain in a giant attack on the forest, Simon vowed to destroy every giant he will ever meet.

After the death of his mother, Simon wandered for a time. He eventually made his way into Keolandish territory, where he worked as a tracker and guide for nobles on the hunt. His work as a guide was lucrative and he earned a number of boons from grateful clients, but Simon eventually grew bored with this life. He moved on, around the Flanaess, eventually ending up in the orcish lands of the Pomarj. Simon hopes to be able to pursue his dream of killing giants. He now seeks allies willing to pursue the same ends.

Bit of Background/appearance
Raggs is a particularly handsome specimen of hairfoot. He is broad shouldered and firmly muscled with iron pecs, bulging thighs, biceps and a rippled abdomen he is more than happy to display for any who attract his fancy (17 is the peak of physical strength allowed for male halflings). His charming smirk, grin or smile, one of which is nearly always on his face, clearly displays the dimple on his right cheek. Unfortunately for Raggs, this normally evokes an "Aw, isn't he so aDORable!" response than the more carnal appreciation he is often looking/hoping for.

Raggs likes the playing of cards (for money, of course!), drinking of ale and pursuit of most all worldly physical pleasures. He enjoys smoking pipe when the opportunity allows and is never at a loss to extoll his various exploits (of adventures both monstrous and "romantic").

He is trained in the manufacture, repair and piloting of boats but suffers from a near-phobia of bodies of water (that may or may not be deep) born of a childhood accident. Despite his impressive physique, his swimming "aptitude" (if it could so be called) borders just above the doggie-paddle. A lifeguard, he is not!

He fancies himself a hairfoot "of the world", expert adventurer, and treasure hunter (of both riches and monsters) of the first rank. Of course, he has seen only very little of the world just yet...but noone else has to know that! The fame and glory, riches of gold and desire will come in time. He is most self-assured, bordering on egotistical.

The keeping secret of his family/clan name is a matter of great importance to him. "Who's gonna take a Bummuffin seriously outside of the Dale?! Nobody, that's who!" And thoroughly enjoys his psuedonym (which he believes most clever) of "Tuff-toes" much better.
