The priest walks by, looking carefully at each guard, looking for subtle signs of possession or mimicry. He also checks every ally he looses sight of at the moment he can see them again going so far to send mental probe as a greeting.

As kal'Tarron passes the guard, he says "We will use the password Spire when we return, so you will know that we aren't the shape changers."

"We should do the same if we're separated," he tells the others.

The veteran guard leads the group up the front steps. He pushes open the large ten foot door and you can see into the front hall. Evidently designed for dual purpose of decorative art and not-so-subtle intimidation. The 100 foot wide entrance hall is adorned with paintings of famous Brellish leaders and generals. Banners of famous Brellish victories heavily adorn the walls. Two statues are placed along each side of the hall.

Subtle sounds of fighting, the clash of steel and cries are heard from deeper in the building.
