GM: @Vertexx69 I adopted a rule addendum to Mal's rules (and yes, yes he still does) where death saves always happen first in a round (regardless of post order). It's in the first post. Rohna has to stay on her back the rest of this round. She is at 29/76 HP +5 THP.

Oh, and kal'Tarron bloodied assassin 8.

I think we're just waiting on Malehan

The priest closes in, but seeing Rhona tended for the moment doesn't rush in. Instead he blasts one of the assassins attacking undead knight with sacred fire. Not willing to offer succor to undead (and not sure if it wouldn't burn him anyway, he flings part of the blaze onto deva protecting fallen warrior.

Malehan continue to move toward his chosen target. He moves between the two tables and nimbly move around Czern opponent and slash at his target, hitting him behind the leg, making him falling down. "Let's finish them up fast, and then let's go help our big friend." he tells to Czern.

Ambassador Attack, Round 3

The heroes counter attack draws blood, two of the assassins seem to be bleeding heavily under the combined attacks of Czern and Malehan, as well as kal'Tarron's target.

Alexia pulls the compact goliath from death's door with a bit of magic.

The assassins react to the threats and charge around the west side of the hall, hoping to remove the avenger and knight quickly. The assassin in front of Czern glances at Alexia as she moved forward. In a blur of motion, the assassin appears as Alexia, smiles and stabs Czern deeply in the chest before laughing and turning back to the black clad warrior.

"They are slowing us down. Finish them."


The leader hops up on the table and walks over to the stirring goliath. As she moves forward her form takes the shape of Alexia. "Oh, I saw what your friend did there. Here's some advice: Stay down!" She then slams her daggers back into Rohna and her pet boar. Olaf is dazed by the blow.

The last two assassins scramble over the table and charge Alexia and Chael.


The ambassadors do move away from the fight, but seem a little hesitant to take cover behind a large bear.

As the thug moves in to strike the avenger, Czern bellows and smashes at him with his hammer, driving the thug to his knees, though it still manages to hit Mahelan.

After the other thug assumes the bard's form, Czern regards him in disdain. A false front will not fool the Wolf. Suffer the fate of a weak death. He bring the hammer down on the other assailant, he crushes "Alexis'" ribs and then spins the hammer around again, this time dropping the fake bard to her knees and also hitting his other attacker with a glancing blow.
OOC: OA vs 9 as he attacks: Hits, 11 hp, and 9 is knocked prone before his attack. Not enough to make 9 miss, but he is prone (and slowed until the end of Czern's turn still). Also, Czern has resist 1 all, so he only takes 20 dmg

On Czern's turn, attack 3: Ac 25, 9 dmg and 3 is also slowed. Assuming it hits, switch Stance to Cleaving Assault and spend AP to attack 3 again: Hit for another 9 damage, 3 is knocked prone, and 9 takes 6 damage. Use move action to switch back to Defend the Line. End of turn, 9 is no longer slowed.

Summary: 9 takes 17 total damage and is prone; 3 takes 18 total damage, is slowed and prone.

The avenger's strike is true. Striking through the prone assassin's defenses, Malehan lands the fatal blow.

As the assassin breathes its last, his black wrapped ninja warrior clothing fades away, leaving his true form, a thin changling wearing rags. It's simple short sword falls from its grip.

GM: Assassin 9 is dead.
