Zuri sees nothing other than what is immediately obvious, skinny, dead blue skinned gremlins. Amongst their things she only finds the weapons they used to attack.

GM:

Equipment on Xivorts in the plaza: 3 unpacked nets (2 of them cut and torn), 1 bolas, 1 dagger, 4 shortswords, and you are able to retrieve 5 darts.

Sabynha recovers her daggers.

You can all take a Short Rest.

Wat needs no healing but will rest to regain his encounter powers.

I know that healing will leave some of use with very few surges left while some have plenty. Hopefully we will have 5 minutes to use the Comrades' Succor ritual soon so that we can redistribute our surges.

Once the group regathers themselves and is ready to continue towards their destination, Wendig lets out a belly burp with joy and staggers off leading the way with pride and great joy. It is a ten minute walk uphill and by the time you reach the gates of Lady Tamora's manor Wendig is panting and wheezing from the effort. The guards roll their eyes at Wendig's approach and cross their helberds. "Where do you think you are going Wendig? You get lost again?"
"Ohoho, no Jack"
"Jake"
"Jake...Ohoho, no Jake ... I'm on himportant bishnish! ... I'm shcor ... *hic* ... schor ... I'm showin' these here heroesh to shee our dear lady."
"No you're not."
"I am."
No ... you're not.
"I am."
"Look, Wendig ..."
"No, you look here Jack"
"Jake"
"Jake ... don't ushe that tone on me wish yer look Wendig. When did Wendig ever shend fat little Jack Tulley away when he and hish friends came round ashking for cake? Never. Now, these fair folksh did sshave my life today from blue shkinned monshters. And they are here to shee the lady, ssho..."

Wendig moves to push his way past the guards but they stop him once more.

"That's all well and good Wendig, but its my job not to just let people in to see the Lady. Especially not Pointy Ears." The last word is snarled and sent as a pointed insult to the fey amongst the group.

Wendig buts in again.

"Thash true Jack! Thish young lash come to my reshcue while Alex wash shiverin like a shcared wee *hic kitten up on the wallsh, and he washn't comin down. Nope no way. Them blue buggers trapped her in a net, shtuck her with their dirty knifes! You should be sshamed of your stinkin tongue Jack"

Jake glares at Wendig but does not reply. "Papers. A lot of Pointy Ears seem to have papers to see the Lady today. I'm sure she'll be over the moon. Let me see them then."

As Wat hands over the papers the guard studies the document for far longer than necessary. He looks up at the group as though trying to think up an excuse to refuse entry. Wendig once more buts in: "Shtop being an arsh Jack. You should be shankin these folksh not caushing them trouble. They're true blown heroesh. And they shaved my life. Hic*"

Jake the guard hands back the papers and in a cold voice says: "Move along then. Your friend won't be far ahead of you. Margery will meet you at the door. State your purpose to her and she will take care of you."

As Wendig goes to follow you in the guards cross their helberds again.

"Not you Wendig. You have no papers. You best be wandering on home. Probably time for you're next drink. It sounds like your starting to sober up."

GM:

So I would have shown you straight to Lady Tamora but it seemed a lot like me talking so leaving it open for anything you might want to roleplay with guards or Wendig.

If you aren't interested then feel free to have Margery show you to a sumptuous room to freshen up and perform any ritual you wish. Who is the ritualist by the way? Wat, I presume. I know Bards are ritualist but are Skalds as well? Margery is slightly surprised at your arrival for some reason. Once that is done I'll move you onto the meeting with Lady Tamora and introduce Grey.

[sblock=Darts] Funnily enough darts don't exist as a weapon in 4e as far as I can tell. Soooo ... let's say that are like daggers, if you are proficient with daggers then you are proficient with darts. So same stats as daggers and lets say the only difference is that they cannot be used as a melee weapon.

So in summary: Dart: Simple Ranged +3 Prof. dmg 1d4 price 5sp Group: Light Blade Light thrown Weight 1/2 lb[/sblock]

Rain bows towards Wendig, "Thank-you for escorting us here, Master Wendig. I'm glad to see that somebody in Crystalbrook has not forgotten their manners since I was last here, difficult times or no."

Her voice sounds extremely controlled as she turns towards Jake. Her hands are by her side, her eyes are focused just below his throat.

I think that is a fair way to treat them. The only other viable option I could see without custom-statting them would be to treat them like shuriken, but that would make them exotic and not particularly attractive to anyone but a PHB rogue.[/sblock]

Jake visibly swallows. He takes a step back to give the group ample room to pass. When they do Jake's hand moves to his throat as though to check it were still there and in one piece.
