"It seems almost a pity; I have some good gnome jokes." She says with a sly wink.

"Very well, a ditty and dance it will be, folks" she continues as she unpacks her fiddle, quite amused at her rhyming, and proceeds to start into a lively dance.

OOC: OMG! That violinist is amazing!

Gray is completely blown away at the fluidity, skill, and magic created when Sabynha plays. Feeling the rhythm and flow of the music and dancing, Gray joins the bard's movements with those of his own martial forms, and the two blend their talents together in a series of movements with Sabynha's slower and gorgeously smooth moves and Gray's lightning quick spins, ducks, kicks, and hand movements. As Sabynha's playing nears the end, Gray spins low, grasping handfuls of grass. Quickening his spinning movements and placing himself directly behind the bard, Gray instantaneously dries the grass with his elemental heat and throws it into the air to either side of Sabynha just as the temperatures reached ignition point, causing the dried grass to burst into flames that quickly die before it hits the ground, accentuating the gypsy's final note.

The little folk are awestruck by the dynamic duo and their dance. Their mouths hang slack, eyes wide as plates. It takes a while for them to clap but when they do it is raucous applause.

"Okay ... well, let's cut the scorn, shall we? It's obvious you are folk worth treating with respect if you can dance a jig better than a leprechaun!" announces Rhyme Master. "We'll answer your questions. Straight like."

Knickknack skips forward and adds "Soryth ... The Dream Queen, Soryth, now rules here. She is wicked, a hag, a master of fear. But it seems she reawakened the sleeping couple, although the agents of the archfey came to burst that bubble."

All of the leprechauns titter at the mention of 'bubble'.

Gray breathes a sigh of relief when he sees that Sabynha's masterful playing and his accompanying her with his dancing paid off. While Knicknack explains Soryth, his features harden, angry that the fey being would harm another as she had with Julianna and Orlando. He is just about to step forward to announce his intention to battle this queen when the leprechauns titter at the word 'bubble'. The little gnomes' laughter is just too infectious, and he, too, falls into a fit of giggles.

Rain hopes she's following the thread and wonders if the previously mentioned giant and dryad were once lovers too? Hoping the leprechaun meant what he said about being candid, Rain presses on.

"So, after Soryth cast the enchantment, an archfey (or their servant) intervened. Now, Master Fiddlesticks, with the nearest Archfey around here being the nearby Ragnar and Uma to the East, was it Uma or an ally of hers who led Orlando-Porpherio away? If she is now estranged from the giant Ragnar, would he be willing to help or advise us on how to release Orlando? Or is he the smiting sort and best avoided?

Her head tilts to one side, "Or am I missing something or have I got things topsy-turvy? It has been known before."

"This Soryth is also a real concern and so is the dispelling of this apparent enchantment of hers. Where might she be?"

Fiddlesticks beams at Rain when she calls him by name, though the Master Rhymer looks a little put out that she has decided to talk to him instead.

"Ehehem. Not so topsy turvy! The story is a little curvy.
Ragnar serves the Green Lord, Caerwyn's father.
Uma serves the Summer Queen, Tiandra.
She is Porpherio's mother, but not by flesh,
for Porpherio was one of those lucky enough to reside in a fairy creche.
The two agents came when the spouses stirred in their tomb.
They made war on the hag, then brought a new doom."

The leprechaun seems about to go on but a commotion bursting through the other side of the glade causes him to stop and the leprechauns to turn one and all in that direction, their faces lighting with fear. The leprechauns suddenly scatter, all except Fiddlesticks, as a woman in gray robes steps out from behind a pile of boulders. Half her face is the withered countenance of a crone, while the other half is beautiful and resembles Juliana.

"Thought you could escape me, Caerwyn?" she says. "Not even death can protect you from my magic. Now come, for we have a task to complete." She casts her hand in a wide arc, and suddenly Juliana stands transfixed, her eyes distant and unseeing.

"And you," says the hag, gesturing in your direction, "Stand away from my prize, or pay the price. Do not think to meddle in affairs that are not your own."

Fiddlesticks, trembling beside you stammers. "Soryth is where? Oh dear. She's over there!"

Wat had been watching, content to observe. But when Soryth made an appearance. Wat focused his attention to her half-withered form.

His anger, no Joven's anger began to manifest itself in her presence. It pealed audibly to Wat, the sound of thunder ringing in his ears.

He raised his staff, gathering lightning...

But he held his divine wrath for a moment, just to make sure the connection between Soryth and Juli... Caerwyn was not a concern.
