The party, at the urging of various friends and allies, agreed to travel into the Brinestump Marsh and bring back the head of the Licktoad goblin tribe's chief, Gutward Rendwattle. After assembling their party, they walk the approximate 2 miles south and enter the marsh via the New Fish Trail, in the hopes of finding Walthus Proudstump, the self-appointed "warden of the marsh" and seeing what he knew of the Licktoad's recent actions.
