Spawn of Khyber/LEB Judge
Tondrek infuses a bolt with green energy and fires, trying to sever a claw while Doggie joins in. But they are uncoordinated, and miss widely.
OOC: Magic Weapon (aimed) on dazed Chimera: Crit fail. Then Doggie attacks same claw: Miss (I'm assuming the +2 defense from called cancels the +2 atk from daze)

GM: I know r1 is under a ton of work, and I'll give him a quick poke [MENTION=54810]renau1g[/MENTION] but I was wondering if anyone mind NPC'ing his character this round. Remember, the Chimera is dazed and Amarande hits like a giant. :D

The dark knight gauges the lack of focus that suddenly appears in the chimera's three heads and takes a mighty swing at the front paw.

The blow lands true and one of the chimera's claws lies severed on the floor of the caged area. The chimera steps back from the blow, not seeing where it was attacked from, limping on its injured paw.

GM: I'm a little confused by the map, as dimsdale moved Rumbum to attack, then CBN dazed him (technically) after his turn. Right now, Rumbum isn't next to the chimera which makes me think he got moved back. In the spirit of "post first", Rumbum did post before CBN finished his turn, so he I'll rule he is adjacent to Chimera (unless Rumbum has a reach weapon of which I am unaware). Of note, the Chimera attacked Rumbum, and is marked by [MENTION=51271]Voda Vosa[/MENTION] Muzdum, so I think he gets an OA (while it is dazed)


Amarande's swing at the chimera, now bathed and disoriented in Pok's illusion, lands a savage blow to front paw. The chimera pounces back, looking for its attacker.

The Chimera only sees one target in the new fey environment and tries a lazy bite at the silly orc standing too close. The illusions shift in a confusing manner and the bite goes well wide.

With a aggressive shake of the three heads, the chimera shakes off the gnome's illusion.

The chain remains taut from Pok's earlier activation of the control panel.

GM: [MENTION=82643]CaBaNa[/MENTION] I got a 13 on save, so if you have a -4 penalty to save, let me know. Also, Pok hasn't missed a roll on the control panel, he has got the controls down, so his DC is now only a 20 to Arcana and Thievery.

"Pok, take tha thing with your magics!" Muzdum suggests, backing away from the cage. He probably is suggestiong some sort of prestidigitation trick to levitate the thing out of the cage.

Aye! Activating the control panel with a practiced ease now, the gnome drags the chimera closer to the cage. One more second... one more second... repeats the gnome as he reaches out with a hand of arcane force to retrieve the claw of the Chimera. Alright, just a moment, let me get this cage down... his fingers continue to work the instrument panel with deft focus.
