Wow. That was awful. Looks like that one dood didnt get his stickybomb on the Panther before it went off.

I did not bother watching the second one, nor will I this one.

I think Wizards was involved in this movie -- they mentioned it frequently in their promo material for Book of Vile Darkness, and I also recall seeing mention of a contest to have a character generated by one of their customers included in the movie. I had forgotten about all that until I saw this thread.

There are people who really like the first two movies, so I can see why they are still producing that kind of crap.

This just goes to show two things:

A.) A company can choose to take the rights to a property/name, slap it on an unrelated project, and call it a day...

AND

B.) Games usually lead to horrible movies.

But can inspire some great musicals...

I'm probably going against the consensus here, but I loved D&D 2. It was exactly the right level of cheap and camp for ironic enjoyment - I hope this one is the same - most Syfy movies are, let's face it!
