Guessing wildly, maybe, but one might hope that the lessons of "only 10% like gnomes" and "only X% have Macs" will have sunk in!

WifI-only tablet devices are available, which have a bigger cost up front (though not too bad for Android-based or the older iPad), obviously, but avoid the monthly data plan fee. Of course you have to play somewhere with wifi Internet access, but if all your friends are such tech junkies, just play at one of their homes
