Metagamers Anonymous Podcast
Metagamers Anonymous is a podcast hosted at the site Prismatic Tsunami. Relatively new on the scene, the series -- which consists of a GM and 4 of his regular players talking about various topics related to immersive, organic, and dynamic roleplaying -- is on its 8th episode. In previous episodes they've discussed ways to help gamers new to roleplaying come up with backstories that help them get into character, debated the pros and cons of grid combat versus theater-of-the-mind, mused on the joy of dump stats, and conducted an interview with Johnn Four (creator of RoleplayingTips.com).
Of perhaps particular interest to members of EN World, the podcast's roundtable all played in E.N. Publishing's War of the Burning Sky adventure path, and in August they'll be interviewing Ryan Nock, creative director of the adventure path (RangerWickett on our forums).
You can download the podcasts at their site, or subscribe to the series via iTunes.Last edited by Morrus; 31st July 2012 at 09:46 PM.

If you have yet to get a chance to tune in to our excellent conversation with RangerWickett, I humbly urge you to do so. We had a great time talking about our gaming experiences, and we lingered quite a bit over our War of the Burning Sky campaign. We also talked a bit about Zeitgeist... if you want to avoid WotBS spoilers, skip ahead to around the midpoint of the program.

All in all, we had a great time. Ryan's a really cool guy in person, and you should definitely track him down at Gen Con and let him know you heard him on the show.
Cheers!

And I apparently need to learn to talk a lot slower. I suppose I was just excited.

Neat. I even learned a few things.
And now I have the oddest feeling, like I should check out the other episodes or something.
