Curiosity: Who's gonna be watching?

The Curiosity rover lands on Mars August 5th, at 10:31 pm PDT. For me on the east coast, that'll be an unfortunately early hour of the morning for a worknight. Though there won't be much to actually see, I'm strongly considering staying up anyway. Anyone else?

Hmm... I will likely be up, and I actually have Monday off due to a civic holiday in Canada, so I very well may wander my browser over that way.

I'd love to, but I doubt it. I really can't stay up that late that much anymore.

But I think the big question is: Will anybody (any entity) on Mars being starying up that late to watch the landing...? Or, what time in local Mars time is it landing...?

But I am hoping for awesome things from Curiosity. Here's hoping the landing is a success.
