I'm going to give him credit in launching this. It is totally wacky and different.

OK, he's been a fool at some point, but let's not concentrate on that. We all are fools at some point or another.

I will be watching in interest and hoping it works out well!

I have a sneaking suspicion they will be better than the official D&D movies...

Lots of fantasy web series are better than the D&D movies. Watch JourneyQuest (now in season 2!), Standard Action, or Walking in Circles on youtube. Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising was made as a movie, but is now in webseries format on youtube.

I really like this. After all Ink was an Indie film, and it's one of my favorite fantasy movies ever made.

That's not a very high standard.
"Marley was dead, to begin with. There is no doubt whatever about that. The register of his burial was signed by the clergyman, the clerk, the undertaker, and the chief mourner. Scrooge signed it. And Scrooge's name was good upon 'Change for anything he chose to put his hand to. Old Marley was as dead as a door-nail." ~ Charles Dickens

Hope he succeeds without traveling to the floor of the pit of his own free will...

I hate to be a Debby Downer, but there are few things in life more ridiculous than low budget RPG-related films. The last thing we need are more nerds in blackface and bleached hair talking in evil whispers.

If he tried to make an urban fantasy film it might fair better.

Or if he used CGI. Blender, after all, is Open Source and it's amazing what you do with it:

I love well made fan films, cool costumes and some at least ok amateur acting. But I fail to see the point of this.
My Story Hour campaigns. What are they up to this week?
